Can I export the composition I created

Yes, definitely. You can export your composition into SWF or FLA. More info can be found at the Exporting a composition to SWF and FLA tutorial.


New version, Overwrite, Fork, what are these

SourceBinder contains a versioning system within, that means that you can have different versions of a composition.

If you save a composition and select

  • New version, it creates a new version of the composition
  • Overwrite, it overwrites the current version of the composition
  • Fork, it creates a brand new composition of the current version of the composition


Can I change the background color of a composition

Sure, you have to double click on the Output node and then you can choose a background color.


ForceUpdate

You have to use ForceUpdate when your object content has changed but it's the same instance.
